From treating common disorders to conducting complex procedures, our medical specialists take extreme care to make patients feel as comfortable as possible during their treatment.

Our team of consultants and medical professionals can help you with a wide range of diagnostic services and cardio care.

Treatments offered:

Ablation: Catheter ablation is a specialist catheter-based procedure that removes (ablates) abnormal heart muscle tissue, and can eliminate cardiac arrhythmias. The purpose of catheter ablation is to treat a fast and at times irregular heartbeat, and to restore the heart to its normal rhythm. The procedure is used particularly in patients whose cardiac arrhythmia cannot be controlled with medication.

Angioplasty & Stenting: Angioplasty is a treatment that uses stents to improve blood flow to the heart by opening a narrowed or blocked coronary artery. A stent is a metal mesh tube that can be inserted into a narrowed artery. It acts as an internal support framework to keep the artery open, by continuing to press plaque back against the artery wall. This allows blood to flow freely through the artery.

Balloon Angioplasty: Balloon angioplasty is a medical procedure that is performed to open up arteries that have been narrowed by plaque. A long, thin tube called a catheter that has a small balloon on its tip is used. The balloon is inflated at the blockage site in the artery to flatten or compress the plaque against the artery wall.

Angiography: Angiography involves the use of x-ray imaging to examine blood vessels. The images generated during an angiography procedure are known as angiograms. This is used to view the inside arteries, veins and the heart chambers.

Heart Valve Surgery: Poor heart valves can make hearts pump less efficiently. Heart valve surgery is used to either repair or replace poorly working heart valves. In most cases, heart valve replacement is an open-heart operation. However in some cases, the valve can be replaced without opening the chest. Called minimally invasive surgery, the damaged valve is replaced through a small incision near your right chest muscle.

Heart Transplant: A heart transplant, or a cardiac transplant, is a surgical transplant procedure performed on patients with end-stage heart failure or severe coronary artery disease when other medical or surgical treatments have failed. A heart transplant surgery replaces a damaged or diseased heart with a healthy donor heart.

Pacemakers: A pacemaker is a small device that’s placed in the chest to help control abnormal heart rhythms. In children it is sometimes placed in the abdominal wall. Pacemakers can be temporary or permanent. Pacemakers also can monitor and record your heart’s electrical activity and heart rhythm.

Patent Foramen Ovale Repair: A foramen ovale is a hole in the heart. The small hole naturally exists in babies who are still in the womb for fetal circulation. It should close soon after birth. If it doesn’t close, the condition is called patent foramen ovale (PFO). A patent foramen ovale repair, or closure, is a procedure that’s done to close this ‘hole’.

Paediatric Cardiology: Paediatric cardiology specializes in treating congenital or acquired heart conditions or disease in children and infants, including diagnosing and treating infants who are still in the womb. A paediatric cardiologist is trained to perform and interpret procedures such as electrocardiograms, echocardiograms and exercise tests.

Cancer treatment in India is at par with world standards with the finest surgeons, hospitals, treatment and surgery techniques, equipment’s, post-treatment care as well as cost.

Procure has a relationship with several hospitals which are well-known for their expertise and the advanced cancer treatment options they provide.

Whether you require chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery or a combination of different modalities, our oncology specialists will work with you to customize a treatment plan that provides the best opportunity for success.

Radiation Oncology: One of the most common treatments for cancer, radiation may be used to cure or shrink early-stage cancer, stop cancer from coming back, or to treat symptoms when cancer has spread. Radiation therapy uses X-rays to destroy or injure cancer cells so they cannot multiply. It can also be used to reduce the size of the cancer and relieve pain, discomfort or other symptoms.

CyberKnife VSI: It is the only robotic radiosurgery system to offer highly precise and customizable, non-surgical treatment options for a broad range of tumors anywhere in the body including the prostate, lung, brain, spine, liver, pancreas and kidney.

Oral Cancer: Treatment for oral cancer varies depending on the type, location, and stage of the cancer at diagnosis. Treatment for early stages usually involves surgery to remove the tumor and cancerous lymph nodes. Treatment for advanced stages usually involves a combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Chemotherapy:A widely used treatment, chemotherapy prevents cancer cells by slowing down the cell multiplication process. But it can also affect some fast-growing healthy cells, which causes some of the side effects from the treatment.

Gynae-oncology: Gynaecologic oncology provides expert treatment to patients with ovarian, cervical, endometrial and other cancers of the reproductive system. The surgical procedure often used is a hysterectomy to remove the uterus, cervix, and both fallopian tubes and ovaries.

Head and Neck Cancer: Many cancers of the head and neck can be cured, especially if they are found early. Overall, the main treatment options are surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy. Surgery or radiation therapy by themselves or a combination of these treatments may be part of a person’s treatment plan.

Breast Cancer: The stage and behaviour of breast cancer controls the treatment plan. The stage, size and type of tumor and the patient’s age, general health, menopausal status, and preferences are some factors hence treatment options and recommendations are very personalized.

GI & Thoracic Oncology: Thoracic and Gastrointestinal Oncology deal with all range of surgeries including lung surgeries, oesophagectomies, gastric and liver resections, colectomies, radical pancreatic surgeries etc. Treatment is specific to stage and individual health.

Brain & Spinal Cord Cancers: Most spinal cord cancers are metastatic or secondary cancers, meaning they arise from cancers that have spread to the spinal cord. Cancers that may spread to the spine include lung, breast, prostate, head and neck, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, thyroid, melanoma, renal cell carcinoma and others. They may be treated with surgery and then by radiation therapy, or with radiation therapy alone.

Robotic Surgery

It is no longer surprising to learn that a hospital’s top performing surgeon is not human. With unmatched precision and the ability to work without fatigue, medical robots areone of the most useful applications of robotic technology.
These robots are widely used in various medical practices, including difficult surgical procedures, and have completely revolutionized the speed and efficiency of health care services in several parts of the world.

The da Vinci Surgical System: A minimally invasive technique, the da Vinci Surgical System powered by robotic technology allows the surgeon’s hand movements to be translated into smaller, precise movements of tiny instruments inside the patient’s body.
The system is an advanced robotic platform designed to expand the surgeon’s capabilities and offer an option to open surgery.

Its key features include:

  • Magnified vision system that gives surgeons a 3D HD view inside the patient’s body
  • Ergonomically designed console where the surgeon sits while operating
  • Patient-side cart where the patient is positioned during surgery
  • Wristed instruments that bend and rotate far greater than the human hand

These features ensure that the surgeon is 100% in control of the da Vinci System at all times.

da Vinci Surgery is used for:

  • Cardiac Surgery
  • Colorectal Surgery
  • General Surgery
  • Gynaecologic Surgery
  • Head & Neck Surgery
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Urologic Surgery

Procure helps you to source comprehensive care for several orthopaedic afflictions including knee, hip, and joint problems. Our network of hospitals are equipped with a wide array of specialities ranging from Sports Medicine, Paediatric Orthopaedic Services, Arthritis Diagnosis as well as Treatment and Pain Management. We focus on providing the highest level of patient care for early mobilisation.

Our team of doctors are well versed in procedures like Computer Assisted Joint Replacement Surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery, Traumatic Orthopaedic Surgery, Hand, Shoulder & Elbow Surgery, Spine Surgery, Articular Surface Replacement Hip Surgery, Foot & Ankle Surgery, Total Knee and Hip Replacement Surgery among several others.

Hip and Knee replacement and resurfacing: In both hip resurfacing and total hip replacement procedures, the surgeon will reshape the damaged surface of the bone and install a metal cup. With resurfacing the limitation is that only a certain type of metal bearings can be used, whereas with total hip replacement, the removal of the diseased ball gives the surgeon many more options in material choices, for example polyethylene, cobalt-chrome alloy and ceramics.

Bad Backs and Spine Problems: Because of the complexity of the human back, treatment may require specially trained spine surgeons and a multidisciplinary team. Treatment often begins with rest, back exercises and medications. Surgery is usually considered only after conservative treatments have failed to end your back pain.

Shoulder replacement: Total shoulder replacement involves replacing the shoulder joint with artificial parts. The doctor replaces the ends of the damaged upper arm bone (humerus) and usually the shoulder bone (scapula) or caps them with artificial surfaces lined with plastic or metal and plastic.

Hand arm and elbow surgery: Surgery is considered only when all conservative nonsurgical options have been exhausted. Procedures include everything from fracture fixation to tendon repair, nerve decompression, wrist arthroscopy, and elbow joint replacement.

Ankle and Leg surgery: Ankle injuries are among the most common of the bone and joint injuries. The general process for healing is immobilization with a splint or cast for several weeks, after which you might get a walking boot to help you walk. Surgery depends on your age, the severity of injury, the time spent on therapy etc.

More than 100 weight loss surgeries are carried out every day in India with Mumbai as a preferred location. In India the bariatric surgery prices are almost 20%-25% of the same surgery in USA. The availability of experienced surgeons, advanced equipment, over other countries.

  • There are four types of surgeries
  • Sleeve Gastrectomy
  • Gastric Bypass
  • Mini Gastric Bypass
  • Gastric Band

Based on the patient’s weight, health condition and their preference, individuals are advised for a specific type of surgery. Procure helps patients with pre and post-operative care as well.

Sleeve Gastrectomy: This procedure is performed by removing approximately 80% of the stomach. The surgeon creates a small stomach sleeve by using a stapling device, while the rest of the stomach is removed. The new stomach pouch holds a smaller volume than the normal stomach and reduces the amount of food intake. This procedure gives a feeling of fullness to patients and reduces their hunger, causing weight loss and significant improvements in health.

Gastric Bypass: One of the most common and successful weight loss procedures, the gastric bypass works by creating a small stomach pouch which restricts high intake of food and facilitates significantly smaller meals, which translates into less calories consumed. The procedure is reversible, and no part of the stomach / intestine is removed from the body. Gastric by-pass surgery helps produce favourable changes in gut hormones that causes improvement in metabolism. This helps in improvement of associated illness like diabetes, blood pressure, joint pains, sleeping disorders, infertility issues etc.

Gastric Band: In this procedure a band is placed in the upper part of the stomach, dividing it into two sections and there is a small opening between the sections, allowing the food to pass through.

The section above the band acts like the stomach that fills with food quickly. As this section of the stomach is filled and stretched, signals are sent to the satiety centre of the brain causing one to feel satisfied for several hours. This surgery does not restrict the quality of food intake and high calorie liquid intake may hinder weight loss.

Infertility Treatments

India offers the perfect blend of a stress-free, relaxed holiday coupled with modern fertility techniques and procedures available at fertility centres across the country. Procure helps you to meet trained physicians and assists you with the safety and standards of the clinic, success rates, and regulations etc.

Assisted Reproductive Technology or ART: Assisted reproductive treatment (ART), also known as assisted reproductive technology, refers to treatments used to assist people in achieving a pregnancy. ART covers a wide spectrum of treatments. It works by removing eggs from a woman’s body. The eggs are then mixed with sperm to make embryos. The embryos are then put back in the woman’s body. ART procedures sometimes use donor eggs, donor sperm, or previously frozen embryos. It may also involve a surrogate or gestational carrier.

In Vito fertilization: In IVF, the woman’s eggs are collected, along with sperm from the male partner or donor. The egg and sperm are left in a culture dish in the laboratory to allow the egg to be fertilised. If fertilisation occurs and an embryo develops, the embryo is then placed into the woman’s uterus in a procedure called an embryo transfer. Sometimes multiple embryos may develop, and they can be frozen for use in later transfer procedures.

Intrauterine insemination: Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a woman’s uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization. IUI provides the sperm an advantage by giving it a head start, but still requires a sperm to reach and fertilize the egg on its own. It is a less invasive and less expensive option compared to in vitro fertilization.

Egg donation: More than 70 percent of women older than 45 who try assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) use donor eggs to try to conceive a child. Single women with fertility problems can also conceive using donor eggs or embryos, and men without a female partner can become fathers by using donor eggs or embryos and a gestational carrier. If you’re at risk for passing a genetic disease to your child, donor eggs may be an option

ZIFT and GIFT: GIFT (gamete intrafallopian transfer) and ZIFT (zygote intrafallopian transfer) are modified versions of in vitro fertilization (IVF). For some women who haven’t been able to get pregnant with normal in vitro fertilization, GIFT or ZIFT may be a good idea.

Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT) uses multiple eggs collected from the ovaries. The eggs are placed into a thin flexible tube (catheter) along with the sperm to be used. The gametes (both eggs and sperm) are then injected into the fallopian tubes using laparoscopy

Zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT) combines in vitro fertilization (IVF)and GIFT. Eggs are stimulated and collected using IVF methods. Then the eggs are mixed with sperm in the lab. Fertilized eggs (zygotes) are then laparoscopically returned to the fallopian tubes where they will be carried into the uterus. The goal is for the zygote to implant in the uterus and develop into a foetus.

There are two kinds:

Traditional surrogate.  Another woman gets artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm. She then carries the baby and delivers it for you and your partner to raise. A traditional surrogate is the baby’s biological mother. That’s because it was her egg that was fertilized by the father’s sperm. Donor sperm can also be used.

Gestational surrogates. A technique called “in vitro fertilization” (IVF) now makes it possible to gather eggs from the mother, fertilize them with sperm from the father, and place the embryo into the uterus of a gestational surrogate. The surrogate then carries the baby until birth. She doesn’t have any genetic ties to the child because it wasn’t her egg that was used. A gestational surrogate is called the “birth mother.” The biological mother, though, is still the woman whose egg was fertilized.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry: Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of the teeth, mouth and smile. Treatments include veneers, crowns, bridges, tooth-coloured fillings, implants and tooth whitening.

Root Canal: Root canal is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth instead of removing it. The procedure involves removing the damaged area of the tooth (the pulp), cleaning and disinfecting it, then filling and sealing it.

Root Canal
Crown & Bridge

Crown & Bridge: Bridges and crowns are fixed prosthetic devices that are cemented onto existing teeth or implants by a dentist or prosthodontist. Crowns are most commonly used to entirely cover or “cap” a damaged tooth or cover an implant. Bridges are commonly used to cover a space if you’re missing one or more teeth. They are cemented to natural teeth or implants surrounding the space where the tooth once stood.

Teeth Whitening: Tooth whitening lightens teeth and helps to remove stains and discoloration. Whitening is not a one-time procedure. It will need to be repeated from time to time if you want to maintain the brighter colour.

Cochlear Implant

Cochlear implants are for patients who suffer hearing loss because the cells in the inner ear (cochlea) are damaged. A cochlear implant is an electronic medical device that does the work of damaged parts of the inner ear (cochlea) to provide sound signals to the brain and enables the patient to hear.

A cochlear implant has two main components:

1. An internal component that is surgically implanted under the skin behind the ear, connected to electrodes that are inserted inside the cochlea.
2. An external component, usually worn behind the ear, that consists of a speech processor, microphone, and battery compartment.

The microphone captures sound, allowing the speech processor to translate it into distinctive electrical signals. These signals or “codes” are transmitted across the skin via radio waves to the internal electronic stimulator. The internal stimulator then sends the signals to the implanted electrodes in the cochlea. The electrodes signals stimulate the auditory nerve fibers to send information to the brain, where it is interpreted as meaningful sound.

Who can do a cochlear implant?
Cochlear implants are designed only for individuals who attain almost no benefit from a hearing aid. They must be 12 months of age or older (unless childhood meningitis is responsible for deafness).

What are the after-care procedures?
Your doctor team will teach you how to look after the system and how to listen to sound through the implant. There are many causes of hearing loss and some patients may take longer to fit and require more training due to individual differences.
Most adult cochlear implant patients notice an immediate improvement in their communication skills. While cochlear implants do not restore normal hearing, and benefits vary from one individual to another, most users find that cochlear implants help them communicate better through improved lip-reading.

Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic and Plastic surgery are often used interchangeably but they are technically not the same. With a wide selection of modern, state-of-the-art eye clinics available in India, travelling for eye surgery and disorders is becoming an increasingly popular choice.
Procedures such as laser eye surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and squint correction are available at very competitive prices, and many people take the opportunity to combine their eye treatment with a relaxing holiday in their chosen destination.

Glaucoma: Glaucoma can be treated with eye drops, pills, laser surgery, traditional surgery or a combination of these methods. The goal of any treatment is to prevent loss of vision, as vision loss from glaucoma is irreversible.

Cataract: Cataracts usually form slowly. You may not know you have them until they start to block light. Your eye doctor will give you an exam to test how well you can see. If your vision can be corrected with glasses or contacts, your doctor will give you a prescription. If it can’t, you may need cataract surgery.

Retinal Diseases: Retinal diseases can be related to aging, diabetes or other diseases, trauma to the eye, or family history. The main goals of treatment are to stop or slow disease progression and preserve, improve or restore your vision. In many cases, damage that has already occurred can’t be reversed, making early detection important. Your doctor will work with you to determine the best treatment.

Corneal Diseases: Your cornea is the outermost layer of your eye. It is clear and shaped like a dome. The cornea helps to shield the rest of the eye from germs, dust, and other harmful matter. Treatments of corneal disorders include medicines, corneal transplantation, and corneal laser surgery.

Eyelid Disorders: Caused by irritation or infection, eyelid problems range from small problems to malignant, possibly metastatic tumours. Fortunately, most eyelid disorders are not vision-threatening or life-threatening. Treatments differ from disorder to disorder

Paediatric Eye Conditions: Paediatric Ophthalmology is a subspecialty of ophthalmology dealing with eye problems in children. Our diagnostic and treatment services encompass the common eye disorders of childhood, such as amblyopia and strabismus, as well as rare disorders affecting infants and children.

Organ Transplant

India has become a centralised medical hub in Asia and every year, thousands of patients travel here in hopes to get cured and receiving transplants from viable donors. In most hospitals you can expect to stay for 3-4 days after the initial kidney transplant, but in some cases your doctors may choose to keep you in for up to a week or so. You need to rest for as long as the doctor recommends and stay infection-free.

A lot of the pre-transplant prep for your transplant is related to paperwork and pre-transplant medical tests for both you and your donor. Procure helps you out and monitors all your paper-work ensuring that you go in for treatments stress-free.

Heart Transplant: Heart transplant is an operation in which a failing, diseased heart is replaced with a healthier, donor heart. Heart transplant is a treatment that’s usually reserved for people who have tried medications or other surgeries, but their conditions haven’t sufficiently improved. While a heart transplant is a major operation, chance of survival is good, with appropriate follow-up care. The first and foremost benefit of heart transplant surgery is that it is a life-saving procedure, it adds years to the patient’s life. Secondly, it improves the quality of patient’s life, to become more independent and functional after the surgery.

Kidney Transplant: A kidney transplant is used to treat kidney failure (end-stage kidney disease). Only one donated kidney is needed to replace two failed kidneys, making living-donor kidney transplantation an option.

Liver Transplant: Liver transplant is a treatment option for people who have end-stage liver failure or liver cancer. Most liver transplant operations use livers from deceased donors, though a liver may also come from a living donor.

Lung Transplant: Lung damage can often be treated with medication or with special breathing devices. But when your lung function becomes life-threatening, your doctor might suggest a lung transplant. Usually done from a deceased donor.

Pancreas Transplant: A pancreas transplant offers a potential cure for type 1 diabetes, but it’s not a standard treatment. In some cases, it might be combined with a kidney transplant or be done after successful kidney transplantation.

Alternate Treatments in India

Most patients opt for medical packages which are combined with leisure activities, fun and fitness making it a complete experience.
Low cost and health restorative alternative treatments combining Ayurveda, Yoga, acupuncture, herbal oil massage, nature therapies, and some ancient Indian healthcare methods are growing in popularity.
Procure provides you with opportunities to experience these authentic treatments in the best centres across the country.

Ayurveda: Ayurvedic and herbal medicines ensures physical and mental health without side effects. Ayurvedic treatment is non-invasive and non-toxic and is used to treat acne, allergies, asthma, anxiety, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, colds, colitis, constipation, depression, diabetes, flu, heart disease, hypertension, immune problems, inflammation, insomnia, nervous disorders, obesity, skin problems, and ulcers.

Sound therapy: Sound therapy is a powerful medium because it affects more than just your ears and heals your whole body. The combination of singing bowls, voice and other tones creates a relaxing, energizing and often blissful environment to relax, recharge and heal.

Sound therapy

Naturotherapy: This is a natural therapy which heals diseases by using natural elements like sunrays, water, air and natural herbs supplemented with natural diet and therapies such as massages and hot oil treatments. The success of naturopathy depends on the belief that the body is self-healing.

Yoga: Synonymous with India, yoga and meditation have immense long-term benefits to health and wellness. Yoga involves a series of movement or postures known as asanas, combined with complex breathing techniques. The benefits of yoga are many: from better cardiovascular health to increasing strength, flexibility and mobility to relief from stress, yoga can be practiced at any age.

Accupressure: is an alternative medicine technique similar in principle to acupuncture. It is based on the concept of life energy which flows through “meridians” in the body. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices. Acupressure helps to correct functional imbalances and restore the flow thus returning the body to a more natural state of well-being.

Accupuncture: Acupuncture is a technique in which practitioners stimulate specific points on the body—most often by inserting thin needles through the skin. acupuncture may help ease types of pain that are often chronic such as low-back pain, neck pain, and osteoarthritis/knee pain. It also may help reduce the frequency of tension headaches and prevent migraine headaches.
